Grade A Branded Solar Panels

Indian & Imported

Solar panels use solar cells to capture and convert the energy of the sun into electricity. A solar cell is made up of semiconductor material, like silicon, which absorbs the sun’s rays. When the sun’s rays hit the solar cells, the semiconductor material absorbs the photons from the sun, and the energy from the photons is converted into an electrical current. This current is then used to charge batteries or directly power an electrical load.

The size of the solar panel array, the number of solar cells, and the efficiency of the solar cell will all affect the amount of electricity that is produced. The efficiency of a solar cell is typically around 20 percent, meaning that only 20 percent of the energy of the sun that is hitting the solar cell is converted into electricity. The rest is lost as heat.

At the same time, the solar cells are also producing direct current (DC) which is sent to an inverter. The inverter converts the DC electricity into alternating current (AC), which is the type of electricity that is used in most homes and businesses.
